GIRL TROUBLE: "The Track" 7" Single ES789
That band from Tacoma that won't go away, is back after lazing around watching Full House reruns to wax another fab single. Twelve years on the Northwest musical circuit, still with the original line-up of K.P. Kendall, Dale Phillips, Kahuna and Bon Von Wheelie, Girl Trouble continues
to provide quality family entertainment wherever they appear. Now Estrus
Records is proud to bring their unique brand of high energy hi-jinx right
into your home on this sparkling double sided 45 RPM record. This marks
GTs return to the studio with a bunch of brand new songs sure to please
both the young and young at heart. Tim Olsen and Brent DeRoscher, the recording
team who helped bring Girl Trouble's 3rd album "New American Shame"
that patented "up close and personal" sound, are back at the control board
on this newest platter. "Scorpio 9" is the first instrumental from the
group since the much talked about 1987 hit "Tarantula", and features Dale's
thundering bass with Kahuna's Ofra Haza imitation. Then flip this disc
over and listen to "The Track" which was written when one of them was in
a really bad mood. Any way you slice it, this single is sure to bring out
the excitement at your next party!
